Sticking with the theme of thanks, Tonya & Ron wanted to say thanks to you all for making this such a great year. It’s hard to start a blog, especially a bi-no-coastal blog focusing on a niche (but important) subject. But you all have been our biggest fans and we’ve noticed it, appreciated it and look forward to making proud in 2013.

Social Media with Ma’ayan Plaut

I had the pleasure of interviewing Ma’ayan Plaut (@plautmaayan), the social media coordinator at Oberlin College. While Ma’ayan isn’t a solo and has never been a solo, we still thought that as a recent graduate (working for her alma mater, no less) would have a unique, interesting perspective that solos might benefit from. She talks about the Oberlin Postcard Project; a creative approach to Thanksgiving, the use of traditional and non-traditional social networks and we try to synthesize all of this uniquely for the solo audience.
