Ron (@ronbronson) has spent nearly a decade talking with his hands successfully as a web strategist in higher ed. He’s currently the digital strategist at Eastern Wyoming College. From steering meetings and demystifying the web to audiences of ones and 1,000s, Ron has led website redesigns as a staff member colleges and universities throughout the country. A native of New Jersey, Ron is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force who was awarded the Air Force Achievement Medal for his service in support of Operation Southern Watch in the Persian Gulf.

Tonya (@marleysmom) has spent most of her adult life smoothing frayed edges, herding wet and hungry cats, breaking down silos, and perfecting the #facepalm – all while dancing backwards and in heels with a big smile on her face.

A former reporter who sold her soul and then redeemed it by moving to communication for a public university, Tonya is a fan of the words “y’all” and “malheureusement” – not necessarily in that order, and prefers the em dash to commas.

She’s currently the director of communications for the UALR William H. Bowen School of Law. In this role, she manages the communications, marketing, and public relations strategies of the law school in accordance with its mission, objectives, directives, and policies. In 2010, she completed her master’s degree in applied communication studies.

Before joining UALR as a public relations coordinator in 2006, Tonya worked for Acxiom Corporation as an internal communications specialist. She began her career as a reporter covering just about anything – including sports – and moved through the newsroom ranks as reporter, news editor, and managing editor for weekly and daily newspapers in Louisiana.
